The Brembo RCS radial master cylinder allows you to choose powerful or modular braking depending on road conditions, weather conditions, your sensitivity, and the feeling you have with the bike. This is a patented master cylinder, directly derived from the one in use in MotoGP, which, thanks to its innovative adjustment system, allows the same brake master cylinder to be adapted to the different uses of even the most demanding customers.
Created with the specific intention of transferring Moto GP and Superbike technology to the general public of enthusiasts, the Brembo RCS radial master cylinder represents, in terms of technical content and style, a new frontier in high-performance brake components.
The RCS system consists of an adjuster with which it is possible to change the lever spacing to 18 or 20 mm, so as to achieve the ideal feeling between rider and bike: by varying the spacing, in fact, it is possible to make the braking system more responsive and ready (int. 20) or more modulable (int. 18).
Changing the configuration is very quick: simply adjust the pump’s wheelbase by turning the adjuster on the front of the guide lever 180 degrees with a screwdriver, using the eccentric system (red on 18 mm, black on 20 mm): this results in a different distribution of braking force without changing the pure power.
The plunger, seals and ferrule of the RCS pumps are the same as those used by almost all MotoGP and SB riders, featuring very low machining tolerances and excellent smoothness.
The RCS radial master cylinder is available in two versions: 19 or 15.These numbers identify the diameter of the piston and determine their use: the 19RCS is to be used on 4-piston but non-floating dual disc systems, while the 15 RCS can be mounted on single-disc systems with a 4-piston caliper or dual disc, but with floating-type calipers.
